While I am not pleased with the results, congratulations are due to Barack Obama for becoming the first African American president of The United States. While I am sure he will do some good for America, it’s unclear just what he will actually accomplish due to the numerous changes of position he’s had throughout his campaign although some of his platform has remained somewhat consistent. While he’s been stating he is all for protecting and upholding the Constitution of the United States he still is a severe threat to the first and second amendment of the constitution. If you value your constitutional right to keep and bear arms then you MUST join the NRA. Your membership will help them in their fight against Washington in protecting our right to keep and bear arms.

Obama will seek to permanently ban semi automatic firearms as he calls them assault weapons. This ban is based solely on appearance and nothing more.

It’s been said elsewhere that Obama also seeks a nationwide No Carry law, which means no carrying of handguns.

Chances are that if you’re visiting this website, that you’re a gun owner, perhaps a hunter, or even a collector. As such, you’re aware of reloading. As a reloader, you should be concerned about legislation which will require registration of ammunition which will be required to be microstamped with an identification assigned to you. Any other ammunition will be rendered illegal. You will no longer be able to use cheap surplus, nor will you be allowed to reload, and if you have a few boxes in your safe, you’ll be required to dispose of them without compensation. Forget the fact that criminals won’t be abiding by this. These laws only affect and punish the law abiding.
